Perfect bake for the Holidays, although so yummy you might want to make these any other time of the year as well.
8.8 oz pitted dates / 250 g kivettömiä taateleita
0.9 cups of water / 2 dl vettä
7 oz of butter / 200g voita
2 eggs / 2 kananmunaa
0.6 cups of sugar / 1,5 dl sokeria
0.4 cups of sour cream / 1 dl kermaviiliä
2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar / 2 tl vaniljasokeria
2 teaspoons of baking soda / 2 tl ruokasoodaa
1,5 cups of all-purpose flour / 3,5 dl vehnäjauhoja
Put the dates and the water into a saucepan. As my son makes faces if he founds to big a piece of date in his muffin, I chopped the dates with scissors prior to combining with water. Bring to boil, boil over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remover from heat, cut the butter to smaller cubes and mix with the dates.
Whip the eggs and sugar. Combine with the sour cream after whipping. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, vanilla sugar and baking soda. Combine these mixtures, stir, and finally add the dates into the mixture. Stir.
Place the batter into molds. Grease the molds if needed. I usually use paper molds, which do not need greasing. Place the molds on a baking sheet and bake in 390 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
Vatkaa munat ja sokeri vaahdoksi. Lisää kermaviili. Sekoita toisessa kulhossa kuivat aineet: jauhot, vaniljasokeri ja ruokasooda. Sekoita kuivat aineet vaahtoon. Lisää lopuksi taateli-voiseos. Sekoita.
Kaada taikina muffinssivuokiin. Itse käytän useimmiten paperisia vuokia, joita ei tarvitse voidella. Paista muffinsseja uunissa 200 asteessa noin 20 minuuttia.

ovat aivan taivallisen makuisia. Ite tein jouluksi ja mieskin totesi ettei ole ikinä syönyt näin hyviä muffineita!
